Before clicking on “Accept” to download the software and open the package, you should agree on the details of the contract and abide by them, which will make you one party of the contract. If you disagree to the items of the contract, click on “Declaim” and do not download the software.
A. Authorization:
The development team of Nopam authorizes educational and academic associations, as well as non-profit organizations, to utilize all the proprietary software modules in your computers or servers. You are not allowed to sell, rent, or sell copies of the software to others. You are also not allowed to make use of the software for any illegal purposes.
B. Protection of Intellectual Property:
The software, including its operation, codes, structures and formation, belongs to the intellectual property of the Nopam development team, and is under the custody of ROC literary property and related international items. This contract does not grant users the intellectual property of this software. Users are prohibited to revise, shift, decode, disassemble, process reverse engineering, produce derivations, and attempt to discover or acquire the source codes.
C. No-guarantee Claim:
Unless requested by related legislations or written agreements, those who own literary property, revise or spread the program by authorized items cannot claim compensations for the losses, as far as the law is concerned.
D. Termination of the Contract:
For any users violating the items of the contract, the development team of Nopam can terminate the contract anytime. Upon the termination, those users must delete the software and all the copies of relevant documents.
E. General Items:
This contract concerning the software is the only exclusive contrast abode by users and the Nopam development team. The efficacy of this contrast is superior to all previous agreements, statements, negotiations and business interactions, whether they were in written forms or out of oral expression. As for controversies regarding the contract, both the two parties should agree on going by ROC legislation and the Taiwan Chiayi District Court should be considered the first-trial jurisdictional court.
